Nice Piece of Equipment

The ML 1636 is a nice piece of equipment and does exactly what we want it to. We have some big blocks of granite that we have to move that weigh about 1000 pounds and we we afraid to use our existing pallet jack which is only rated for 1200 pounds. The ML1636 can handle our weight with plenty of margin.
We needed a pallet jack with not more that 19 inches between the outside of the forks so the ML 1636 at 16 inches fit the bill.
A couple of comments. The instructions that come with the pallet jack are pretty confusing and we couldn't figure out how to put it together from the written instructions. I would suggest that Mightly Lift re-write their assembly instructions in bigger print and with more clear step by step instructions. Luckily Mighty Lift has a youtube video that shows exactly how to put the pallet jack together. We watched the video a couple of times and it all became clear. Just do a google search on "youtube how to assemble a mighty lift pallet jack."
The jack arrived in just four days. We were quite pleased with the quick delivery.
One interesting thing is that the ML1636 is rated for 2200 pounds but there is a big sticker on the pallet jack that says "rated for 4400 pounds." You can even see the sticker on the photo of the ML1636 on the amazon page if you look hard. Which is it? It doesn't really matter to us since we aren't going to be lifting anything over 1500 pounds but the contradiction is a bit puzzling.
All in all, a good buy at the right price that does exactly what we need. I would purchase again from Mighty Lift.
