BIG improvement for carrying up-down stairs, game changer. At first I attach the strap parallel to the ground.
The bike kept tilting down. I then attached the rear strap UP HIGHER than front strap, then the front wheel tilted down, so much Better. Another reviewer has a picture of this set up on his bike in a photo.
