English translation is very good, but bought it for german study, which is a bit limited

Old and not user friendly!
Save money and nerves and get a smartphone instead

Negatives:
Poor vocabulary - the dictionaries list only about 20 to 25 thousand words. (I checked my native Czech as well as European Portuguese. Expect the same with the other languages.)
Other sources (Thesaurus, Britannica etc.) are similarly simplified.
Poor screen - low definition, reminds desktop computers of the good old eighties.
Poor text-to-speech - voice in some languages sounds too robotic and nearly incomprehensible.
No speech-to-text.
Spoken Portuguese and Spanish are always Brazilian and Latino-American variants, respectively, even if you select Iberian.
Analogically there is only American English. No RP or other forms.
Some of the advertised languages are missing. No Polish, Greek or Finnish. And only 25, not 26, in total.
No support - I wanted to add more languages - not possible. No downloadable extensions. I wanted to add Hungarian and was advised to buy another (more expensive) product.
Counter-intuitive and complicated interface.
No direct two-way translations. You have to go to the settings first. No language recognition.
Positives:
2x AAA bateries (which I prefer to any expensive built-in battery) - no charging on the way, just replace them.
Switching off very fast, moderately fast turning on.
Summary: crap! I keep kicking myself for buying that. Do not make the same mistake.
