I own about four sledgehammers & this sledgehammer is for working out, not construction work. With that said, it is very well made, easy to grip considering the materials & grip width. Good weight distribution. Fast shipping. I purchased the 30 pound unit & would certainly buy another. The price is also fair.

I use the 30 LB sledgehammer for my workouts for hitting a large tire, I've probably landed about a thousand hits so far and all is well. Some reviews complain about them breaking but as long as you use them for tire slams (like you should) chances are it's gonna be fine. I would definitely not suggest using these for construction purposes.
