The carrier can be used in 4 positions, the usual worn in the front with baby facing you, worn in front with baby facing out for when they are a little older. I gave this 4 stars because I like the product very much except it comes with no instructions which might be confusing to some customers. I had no issues figuring out how to adjust the straps. It took a couple of adjustments to fit properly to my grandchild. I will be using this as a backpack.
