I'm in love! Perfect for updating old furniture!

I LOVE this contact paper! It's a total game changer. I had never used contact paper before, but after seeing such amazing before and after pictures from all of the reviews I decided to update my desk and side table. I am so happy I bought this! My desk and table look AMAZING and so expensive now! Before I had an boring, white ikea desk and now it looks expensive and brand new. The side table was initially purple, but I spray painted the legs gold and covered the top with the paper. I absolutely love them! It truly looks like real marble--- it's so realistic that a lot of my friends didn't believe it was contact paper! I'm definitely buying more of this stuff to and covering lots of my furniture. I think I might even go to some yard sales and buy some used stuff to revamp. 100% would recommend this to everyone.

This product is fantastic. I bought it to makeover a plain black Ikea table that I had. It was not wide enough to cover the entire table, so I had to apply it in two sections with a seam running down the middle of the table. The seam is noticeable only if you are sitting at the table. From afar, it looks like a real marble-top table. It is also very easy to apply. Thanks to the other reviews, I knew I had to smooth out the air bubbles while applying it, and I did so with a butter knife. The whole project was done in under 40 minutes, and the effect is stunning. Very happy with this purchase.

I used this to restore form and function to a desk I painted white a year ago. The paint chips because my kids use the desk and they are a little hard on furniture. This went on easily, took about 15 minutes and most of that was cutting and measuring. I suggest you use a squeegee or plastic card (credit card) to smooth out the air bubbles. The glossy finish looks great and its functional because it is easy to wipe off and keep clean. Very durable and thicker than contact paper. Would definitely buy again.
If you're a perfectionist, don't buy this.

The look of the vinyl itself is really nice (1 and ONLY star for that). However, I have NO IDEA how any of the other buyers got this to work for them. It was an absolute nightmare to just unravel the paper and have it lay flat -- which it doesn't and ends up getting crinkled in random spots and won't adhere smoothly. The vinyl is very thick and sticky and when it sticks to the surface, you'll need to put some muscle into peeling it off. My boyfriend helped me and we still couldn't get it on smooth onto a desk which is a completely flat and rectangular surface (god bless the person who used this for their counter tops). After wasting an hour, we gave up. There were so many crinkled spots and SO MANY bubbles -- it was truly not worth it. I wish I had visuals but I was too annoyed.
Easy kitchen renovation

Decided to renovate my kitchen by myself and bought this for my counters. Very real looking. Thick and strong- not like regular contact paper. Easy to apply. (Before and after photos.)
