comes cheaply packaged, kinda looks like a sandwich baggie, but I have given a lot of these away and used a lot of them. They work very well. They come with a small blue clip that helps assure the line doesn't get pushed down and come apart accidentally, thats a plus to me, but the clips are very delicate and hard to hang on too. Will work fine without them. 10 for about the same price as one at home depot. Works good on my drip system hydroponics and on higher pressure ice makers and RO units.

Had a leak on the ice machine which caused damage to the drywall downstairs. It was a leaking piece of the plastic tubing for water supply. Went to the store and bought a short piece of tubing to replace the broken tubing. Got a new brass fitting compression pieces for the brass connection connecting the two. The brass fitting was what we used 10 years ago. This time I could not get the compression fitting to stop leaking no matter what I tried. Got on AMZ to see if there was a new type of sharkbite (see my other reviews) fitting and found this. Super cheap and of course with AMZ prime it got to my home in 2 days. Cut off the brass fitting with scissors. Put one end of this push fit fitting on then pushed other end in the other end. AND WOW> NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love these type of fittings. See my sharkbite reviews and pex reviews. I used to HATE plumbing, the art of plumbing is NOT easy. However with the new push fit technology like these, I love it. Wish I would saved myself time on this project from the start and used these. NOTE: Have not used these on copper tubing (yet). My application was plastic to plastic but I will use this on my copper applications in the future and I expect great results too.

I am so glad to have found this product. I have used it 3 times in the last two weeks. I have 7 left and I hope I won't need them but I know right where they are. A small rat has really kept me busy chewing holes in the water line to the ice maker in the poolhouse. Just cut the line and push each end into the quick fix connector. Nothing could be easier to fix.
