Worked to connect a SAS controller directly to an LTO drive.

Bought this for use with my SAS LTO5 drive and it works like a champ. Used an IBM ServeRAID M1015 cross-flashed to LSI9211-8i IT mode, and a Quantum TC-L52AN-EY-C drive. This cable is long enough to reach from the fifth PCI-E slot on my board up to the drive in the top slot of my case. The build quality probably could be better but I don't foresee an issue as this is for a personal machine, not a server getting rebuild all the time. I know the review and products don't also seem to line up on Amazon... I bought the "CableDeconn Mini SAS 36 SFF-8087 to (4) SFF-8482 Connectors With SATA Power 1m".

i dont think it can see my sas drives
Definitely SAS connectors, but won't talk to SAS drives

My controller will not recognize any of my SAS drives connected to these cables, however my SATA drives can communicate through them just fine. My SAS drives work fine with other cables, so I know it's not the drives. I spent several hours connecting the drives in various ways to various power cables, RAID card ports, etc. before sending these back for a refund - the problem is absolutely the cables.
