At first glance I was disappointed because they were so small, then I added batteries, and turned it on, and oh my gosh! This flashlight surprised me! It was extremely bright! So, I tested out the other features, such as the zoom option, and I love how I was able to focus in on an object. It's very simple to use, and because it is so small and powerful, I'm going to keep one in my car as well as leave one home in case of more power outages. Would definitely recommend!

I bought a 2pack of these flashlights for use around the home and outside. The flashlight is quite bright and better in every way over the old style bulbs. It has 5 modes which is about 4 more than I would prefer since this leads to unnecessary use of the push button which is often the weakest link in this type of product. I've had to throw out other flashlights due to the buttons failing but admittedly they were cheaper and hopefully these are better made. Time will tell.
The description says Waterproof but the box says Waterproof Resistant(?), Shock Resistant (probably until you drop it), and Aviation Grade Aluminum Alloy. At least the box doesn't have a hint of the all purpose word: Tactical.
Overall I think the quality is quite good. The size is a not small 5.25" when collapsed, but on the other hand it is large enough to use as a potential self-defense striking weapon. High/Medium/Low settings enable tailoring the light output according to needs potentially prolonging battery life.
Also, make sure to check the batteries on a monthly basis for any sign of deterioration so you can spot this before a leaking battery destroys the flashlight's contacts. Guess how I know.
