This machine is just ok, nothing great. About every 3rd or 4th wash, the dishes don't always come clean, there is a residue left on them. The organization of the rack isn't great either, I find it difficult to load my dishes n an organized fashion to optimize the room available. We have had this for a few months and there was already a leak due to the fasteners in the back coming loose from moving the hose around (from faucet back to counter).

Previously owned the SD-2201W which worked perfectly without issue. After having to replace all of our appliances due to a house fire we decided to purchase the SD-2213W which was the newer model. After about 1 month of use the unit stopped draining and overflowed with the mini-party lights flashing. I was able to work around this to get the machine to eventually drain. Opened a warranty claim with SPT and they sent a new PC board but told me I needed to install myself. The rep sent blurry self taken pics of the installation process. The board they sent did not come with screws and the previous board did not have any as well. When i inquired about this, they insisted it needed screws but never answered any further questions. Unit worked again for about 3 to 4 months before failing to drain again. I contacted SPT and they failed to respond. I began calling them and they insisted it was the pump and informed me I would once again need to replace the parts myself, the alternative would be i would need to pay to have it shipped + labor too a company that would repair. They sent me another PC board and pump and indicated that they had no installation instructions for this replacement. When I asked if this didnt work or if the machine failed again if they would send me a replacement or a refund they told me no, I would need to send in for replacement. The parts arrived in a week and I was able to replace the pump and tested. Unit still would not drain. I replaced the PC board and tested, after which the unit would not even power on anymore. If you look at the amazon reviews for this model they clearly have a defect in their parts. Better Business Bureau also has numerous complaints for consumers who needed to file a claim before the company would refund their money. Forcing consumers to replace their own parts is not a warranty. Avoid this company at all costs.

I've owned this one for almost three months and I love it. Love not having to hand wash most dishes anymore. Only have to hand wash the large dishes, such as chargers or cookie sheets because the capacity of this dishwasher is small and the opening is pretty small too. But overall, this dishwasher is great. Just don't have any dishes in the sink when running the washer because the drain water comes out of the hose pretty fast and can ricochet against dishes in the sink and get all over the place.

I am so impressed by this product. It is completely quiet except for when it drains water. It hooked right up to our sink and cleans the dishes. They are dry, clean, and spot free! I recommend for any small apartment or anyone without a dishwasher, I love it so much because my dishes don't pile up on my counters or shallow sink anymore. Just one thing to remember is to measure your counter space. I did right before buying this and it for perfectly under my counter.

This beats the dish washer I had by a country mile!!! Really cleans great,heats the water very hot & is a push button wonder. I'm really impressed!! I can clean twice as much as I could with my former machine & it's the same size! This is a KEEPER!!!!!!!!. Forgot to mention it's so quiet that I had to keep checking when I first used it to make sure it was working!!
