Dope ass gloves. Got the mexican 16oz. The hand compartment size fit good, and I believe feeling it now, it loosened up more hitting heavy bag and wearing wraps. I think I have medium to large hands at 5'10 ; 185lbs. I wanted another pair of 12oz for speed work on heavy bag and got TOP KING Superstar Air gloves and I was dissapointed because the hand compartment size was pretty small - my hand barely, I mean barely fit with wraps on. I may re-purchase a pair in 12oz since the hand compartment size is good. And for all those wondering, there is a lot of misinformation, the oz of the glove does NOT determine the hand compartment size, just padding. The hand compartment size will vary from brand to brand, with certain brands like TOP KING, having very small hand compartments, so keep that in mind with purchasing. But if you have medium to larger hands, the Venum's should be perfect.

First - my low rating applies to me and how well they functioned for my use. To be fair this a well constructed glove and may work well for others, but in my case, for some reason, it caused my right hand to hurt and even at times lose feeling in my fingers. I box 3 times a week and like to hit hard and I was hoping these would work but after about 3 sessions I've had to go back to my old gloves. I even switched between these and my old gloves during one workout and the pain followed these.
I really struggled to rate these since they appear to be a nice, well made glove. Ultimately they don't work for me. Unfortunately I went ahead and wrote my name on the glove before trying them out, otherwise I would have returned them.

Too loose and no wrist support

Not recommended, especially if you have small hands/wrist like I do. I bought it because it says "wrist support", but sadly it doesn't have any. Even though I have relatively small hands/wrists, the wrist part of the gloves is unreasonably loose. There's just way too much empty space around the wrist when bare hands, and the situation doesn't improve very much when with hand wraps. The gloves can even fly away if I give a swing. My friend who has bigger than normal hands tried also said it's too large and loose.
The gloves also don't breathe well. The mesh at the palm doesn't really help.
Overall, it's overpriced for the quality. I just tried it twice and decided not to waste my money and returned it.

I've been using these several times a week for the last 2.5 months and they've served me very well. They are easy to clean and people are always complimenting them because they look so stylish. These gloves have substance, though, as my hand has been extremely well-protected with every use, whether I'm boxing or hitting bags. The gray color is pretty sexy, though.

These are some top quality gloves but the ones I received do not have the thermal regulating mesh and so my hands got sweaty after even just two minutes of having them on my hands without exercising.
