These letters are as true to factory as you can get I parked my explorer right next to one that came from the factory with explorer on the hood you could not tell the difference.

They are alright. Some letters have excess leftover plastic shavings on some edges which can be trimmed with a razor blade (I did 4 letters worth). They are NOT glossy by any means. They are more Matte dark DARK gray. I was a bit disappointed by this but on the plus side I think the flat darkness does better for my Magnetic Explorer. On any other color explorer I would have returned these as they are not glossy as described.
The template was flat unlike OEM which is curved. If you have 30 minutes and a good eye you can do as I did and use tape to get that curve to match the hood. If you're super lazy, go OEM letters for the curved template.
Thankfully in MY case it worked out great. I was VERY hesitant to buy these due to the blend of both colors which is why I thought I'd only fork out $60 vs 90 (OEM) letters to save some bucks if all said and done it didn't work out.
(Also note that the STOCK photo is the OEM true glossy letters. You can tell by the SPORT grille associated with the letters in the photo!)
Shipping was prompt/quick. Five stars for that!
Unsure how close the OEM letters sit on the hood vs these as I haven't seen a SPORT model up close to compare. My worry was a car wash brushes grabbing the sharp points of the "X" and "E" letters and ripping them off. The car wash a few days ago did not do this but I did and will for the next few washed get out after and make sure all my letters are still present.
