I was sure how well they would do and to be honest it took a while before she would use them. Now they are one of her favorite gadgets to use when baking or cooking. We've seen these things in stores for 2.99-7.99 each. You cannot beat this pack for the price. We use them in our camper. Keep two on the paper plate/utensil basket for outside eating. Always available to save the picnic table cloths.

These work very well. I bought 5 of these 2 months ago to use on our brand new Amish built table. They not only keep heat away from the table surface, but they also fold so that 5 of these occupy roughly the same space as one standard wood or cork trivet. Use 2 or three for larger pans/dishes. My wife threw out the old trivets and I just bought 5 more. They're nice looking as well.

good compact trivet solution. they aren't bulky and can be positioned in succession to accommodate larger hot plates/platters. these are durable - my nephews took it upon themselves to rip the "legs" out, but they were easy enough to reassemble.
