This is the perfect bird feeder hook I was searching for (after several that didn't work). I couldn't use a clamp-on style type due to my deck railing not being wide enough. This SWIVELS! I love how easy it is to fill the feeder with this feature. I can watch the birds from my deck. I get a birds' eye view of them, so to speak. My only concern is one of the screwed together joints is slightly bent from the weight of the seeds. So far it seems to be holding up, however. (I could put less seed in, but that means more refilling). I will be ordering another for my hummingbird feeder. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this item.

Exactly what I needed....an extended bracket that hangs further out away from my deck to hang my hummingbird feeder from. It is just far enough out that the raccoons cannot reach it. HOWEVER, when you screw the rod sections together, the hook at the end that holds the feeder is NOT perpendicular when tightened. Although I solved the issue by wrapping black duck tape around the section that was not tightened all the way, it would be nice if it worked properly to begin with.

It's perfect. We didn't want our bird feeder hanging over our patio and making a mess, so we bought this to mount on the outside of our fence. We swing it towards us when we need to fill it with birdseed, then swing it back over the ice plant where all the mess can fall. I drilled small holes in the fence post first before drilling the screws in so it made it easier for them to go in. It's very sturdy.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these hooks to re-position my bird feeders so the squirrels and raccoons couldn't get to the bird feed. I had been filling up the feeders in the evening after dinner, and by morning ¾ of the feed was gone. After temporarily mounting a security camera to see what was going on, it was easy to see. The first half of the video shows my feeders (there's another one in the distance on the right) with easy access for the raccoons. After getting these hooks, it took me all of 5 minutes to mount them and re-position the feeders. The second half of the video shows the raccoons unable to get to the feed anymore. Perfect solution!

I would suggest a better job at adjusting the threads in the manufacturing process, so the parts can screw together a bit more snuggly, but it works for me. I have it installed on my apartment balcony so I can have one hummingbird feeder hang away from the deck in front of my kitchen window so I can watch all my Anna's feed during the day. Prior to having the hummingbird feeder hanging there, I had a metal bird seed feeder that weighed, at least, 8 pounds, when full and it was very strong and reliable. I had no fear of the arm weakening and the feeder coming down on someone's head 20-feet below on the sidewalk.
