Bad quality for that high dollar price

I was hoping this would be the perfect towel after reading all the great reviews. However, I should have given more credit to the not so perfect reviews. The towels arrive packaged well and they look amazing. After washing them on the gentle cycle and drying, the amount of pilling was unbelievable. For the high cost of this towel, I would not expect that until years from now. I've bought towels at Dollar General for rags that have held up better than this. I bought two towels for my beach vacation this week, but these are going back and I'll buy some cheapo towels when we get there. Don't waste your money on these!!!!

I recently bought 6 Laguna Beach Cabana towels for our family vacation; a large gathering that included our 3 adult sons who are 6'2"; 6'3" and 6'7". I hadn't bought beach towels in many years so started shopping in Dept and Housewares stores only to find poor quality, thin weights, skimpy sizes and garish colors. They were terrible! Also shopped the better national chains like Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma and Restoration Hardware....as well as everything on Amazon. These Cabana Laguna Towels were the best price and quality of all the 600+ gram options. The customer reviews are very accurate. We all loved these towels on the beach as they are longer and wider, plush, soft, thick and absorbent. The edges have high-quality bindings. The stripes are classic and elegant! It is important to wash on delicate and if you follow instructions, they come out of the wash beautifully and colorfast. I can't recommend these towels highly enough. They are gorgeous and worth every penny!!

These towels are the perfect beach towels. They are huge, fluffy and absorbent which is what everyone looks for in beach towels. The lint is real, if you read the tag it suggests using the delicate cycle to wash. I didn't, but the lint doesn't bother me. I will be buying at least two more.
It's worth it. Get it; you know you want to.
