I've had my Openwheeler cockpit for about three weeks now and could not be more trilled with it. It was packaged very well and right out of the box fairly simple to put together. Honestly the hardest part of assembly was just connecting the seat to the backrest (definitely a two person job). After that assembly takes about twenty minutes. Right off the bat its great how easy you can adjust the position of the seat, the wheel mount, moving the pedals left or right depending on your feet placement, even getting the shifter mount at the right height. I'm 6'2 and fit in the cockpit with very few issues ( I have noticed that if I have the seat too far up my knees get in the way of the wheel mount but its not that big of an issue and just took some adjustment on my part). To prove the adjust-ability of the cockpit my fiancee who is about 5'2 sat down into it and all she had to do was move the seat up in order to use it.

With everything hooked up and mounted the cockpit is still quite easy to move. I'm limited on space at the moment so the cockpit needs to be moved from time to time away from my tv and it's really no problem at all. I imagine even taking the whole thing apart would only take five minutes. It really is the perfect racing cockpit for someone who wants a near authentic experience without breaking the bank and dedicating a whole room for setup.

This is the first racing cockpit I've had, and it seems like it'll be the last because I shouldn't need another. It's very adjustable, and there are no cons. I was worried that the steering wheel beam would get in the way of my legs, but it doesn't. I attached Logitech G920 wheel, pedals, and shifter to it, and it all works great with my HTC Vive. You may find that Steam VR goes crazy with the wheels/pedals attached to your PC, but there are fixes for that. I use a free fix on github (search steam vr steering wheel github fix).

Wow, totally blown away by the quality of this setup.

1st - It is made of strong powdercoated square tubing, excellent hardware, full adjustable
2nd - The instructions and packing and setup could not be any easier, includes tools to put together
3rd - Rock solid! I did not realize what I was missing with my other stands that would wobble or move, I can feel the feedback better, can drift better, can respond better.
4th - The seat is a real racing seat, terrific, ergonomic, nuff said!

I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife and was not sure how it would work with my fantec wheel, pedals, and shifter. It worked great! No issues, wheels on the bottom so you can slide it around and out of the way when not in use.

For the price this is a steal!

I'm using an HTC VIVE - Virtual Reality System, and this seat adds so much to the experience when racing. It's just unnatural sitting at a desk/table in VR while driving... but this really completes the illusion of "being there". Even after reading some reviews saying it's even better than you'd expect, I was still pleasantly surprised by a feature I wasn't even aware of; it's got a lever under the seat to slide forward/back just like a real car seat.
So far I've spent a few hours racing in Project Cars, and even longer flying around in Elite: Dangerous, which is really fun. I'm using some boxes to support my flight stick and throttle, but I've heard there will be an add-on attachment for the seat that will allow you to mount them directly, which is great. It really feels like you're piloting a space ship.
If you're into VR, or thinking about getting a VR setup, definitely put this on your shopping list. Logitech Driving Force G29 Racing Wheel for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 is the wheel/pedals I'm using, and Logitech G Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller is the HOTAS I'm using, for reference.

So I finally got this rig all put together ... wasn't too difficult however, due to poor packaging one of the tightening knobs broke. I made due with the broken knob by putting it on a part I wont have to adjust so it is effectively out of the way. However, I discovered a design flaw with the bars that are designed to hold the shifter in place .. as they only use one knob at the base to hold the arm up it rocks back and forth with relative ease. I fixed this by jamming cardboard packaging down into the base holder and re-tightening the screw. Lastly, I find the seat and the pedals are in a position like a go kart and with the logitech pedals my legs are uncomfortably parallel to the ground and my feet are flat vertical to the pedals ... making long plays uncomfortable.

Outside of frame issues, I do like the seat itself, the red and black look very sharp and it has a nice racing feel to it.

I think later on in life I will disassemble this, make a platform to raise the seat up so I am in a more comfortable position.
