Good Way to Save Space on a Small Desk

I bought two of these for my kids so they could have a water bottle/drink cup holder on each of their desks without them having to sit on their desk. They work well though I could say that they are better for cups that get wider toward the top than for single water bottles due to being wider mouthed but they work well. Good way to save space on a small desk. You also don't run the risk of a sweating drink cup ruining papers like homework cause it keeps drinks off the desk, and for normal sized cups they really can't spill.
This isn't a very sturdy thing and is designed for normal cups and water bottles, do not go trying to put in a 7-11 Double Gulp cup in here, it will be too heavy and risk it spilling or falling off (simply too tall).

Great product. Holds decent size cup or bottle of water. I bought one a year ago and just purchased 2 additional ones.
I clip them onto computer tables so my drink is out of the way and danger of knocking over onto computer items is zero.

As a writer, it's very disconcerting to suddenly be very thirsty and not be able to reach your beverage. These are a nice idea and for the most part work well. Obviously important to use it on a desk that is thick enough, otherwise it doesn't hold. What I don't like about it is that the bottom where the cup sits has a hole in it, presumably for drainage (?). However, if your cup leaks, it ends up leaking on the floor. I'd rather have the cup well with a solid bottom and let any leakage remain in the well instead of emptying out on the floor.

These work great for soda cans and short bottles. They are not very deep, so I would avoid tall water bottles. I bought them to use in a motorhome/RV since there were no convenient cup holders next to the couch, so I clipped one on the dining table next to me and that was a big mistake. Going down the road I had diet Dr. Pepper sloshing out all over the place before I realized it. That certainly isn't the fault of the product, but rather my lack of thought before using it. They were great once we get to our destination, however.
