LOVE THIS! I cannot recommend it enough
Michelle Perretta•September 16, 2017
LOVE THIS! I cannot recommend it enough. My husband runs a lot, and has issues with his shins and calves being tight. The rod has helped him so much with that. I use both of them a lot. I use the rod on my neck and shoulders. Also while I'm sitting at my desk, I roll my feet on the helix after long work days and to keep myself from getting restless while doing school work. Definitely the BEST foam rollers we have owned. Hands down.
Great roller, high quality material

Great roller, high quality material, very impressed with the enclosed guide to a variety of exercises, have tried a few that physical therapy had not suggested, fits perfectly into to physical therapy routine since back surgery.
RAD Rod and Helix
Allison Zwingenberger•August 14, 2017
My quads had a deep painful band near the IT band from running that I normally massaged with the heel of my hand. This is both awkward and tiring to do, so I tried the RAD rod to help me get to the deeper tissue. The rod is very easy and light to handle, and the thin profile means that you can set it at any angle and apply just the right amount of pressure. You can be much more precise than with a large diameter foam roller that you are resting all your body weight on on the floor, which allows neither precise nor adjustable pressure.
The rod helped me get to that sore band on both legs with no problem. If it was extremely sore I could use light pressure, and when not so bad I could increase the intensity to release the adhesions between tissues. It's a very convenient way to work on the calf muscles as well in a comfortable seated position.
The helix is a much more intelligently designed replacement for a foam roller. You can place the helix between you and the ground to work on several areas. There is a groove for your spine so that you can lie on it and apply pressure to the QL muscles on either side of the spine. I often tilt sideways to apply more pressure to one side than the other as I work through soreness. The tapered shape is perfect for glutes, so that you can lie at a 45 degree angle and get deep into the fascia and tendons above the femur and below the hip. I also like the textured surface that applies a bit of variety in the pressure profile as you roll.
The flushing kit is excellent because you can use the rod and the helix together. This gives you a larger profile to apply more evenly to the large muscles like the quads and hamstrings in a seated or standing position. They both travel well being small and lightweight, and fit neatly in my luggage. I recommend trying these tools for pre- and post-activity loosening sessions, and before bed for deep relaxation. I find the tension release effect of 10 minutes of rolling similar to how I feel after yoga class.RAD Muscle Flushing Kit I Myofascial Release Tools I Multiple Densities I Self Massage Mobility and Recovery

Sensational device!
CaSandra Stade•April 2, 2017
Absolutely outstanding device. The perfect placement on all the stiff achey parts. Personal use is the best on your back rolling the kinks out, and having a partner roll you down is even better! I will definitely be purchasing more as gifts no one knew they needed, so seriously if you don't know what to get someone for their birthday or christmas, you cannot go wrong here. (However, I do want to add that as a first time user there is some getting used to. you have to understand this device helps to relieve the muscle of built up tension and toxins so at first the pressure can feel very hard and like it hurts but you really need to relax and breathe through it. the more you do it the more your muscles and body will thank you. And the more they will loosen up and get used to it, if anything you will be calling for it the next time your back kinks up, or your neck)!
RAD Roller kit best for great for Chair Massages
Jean Pierre DeBarros•December 13, 2016
I did not buy mine on Amazon, but am about to gift mine to a good friend, so will be buying it again soon, but I can't speak enough about the two items combined. Great for self-care, but if you're a practicing massage therapists who does chair massages, I highly recommend the two combined. Will save your hands, and the clients love it even more. In conjunction with the RAD tools, I use the Myoballs for deep pressure work. Between the two, I'm a superstar in my clients' eyes, and my hands love me for the fact I don't stress them like I used to.
