Not just for boys. I'm a petite, slim, I guess, older woman, and it fits perfectly. Have yet to wear it in the rain but am looking forward to trying it out. Like the feel of the material -- not vinyl -- feels like suede only thinner and waterproof.

I purchased this Poncho in the navy color for my son who is 14 years old as it has been raining more in Southern California recently. My son is in a wheelchair and the poncho has been keeping both him and the chair dry. It fits him perfectly and the quality is excellent. I am very happy with this purchase and he is too because he is staying dry throughout his school day while he is wheeling himself to and from the school bus and around school. I highly recommend it!

I'm a 5'2" woman and it fits me really well. It's easy enough to get it folded back into the pouch it came it, but definitely will never be able to fold it as neatly as it came. No matter- it's easy to throw into whatever pack I'm using for camping or a day hike, or even just keep in my car. Brought it on an international trip in case of rain storm and was kinda bummed I didn't get to use it! Seems like fairly good quality material, especially for the price. I'm not worried it'll tear with regular use.
