Just used it yesterday for the first time and am very disappointed. Was able to use the recip saw for about 20 minutes and it died on its freshly charged battery. Put a second charged battery in and it went for 15 minutes. Is it the batteries or the saw? I don't know.

the drill chuck doesn't hold the bits as tight as my milwalkee m12 set does. goos price for the first timer to learn on bought for a 12 year old, and works well for this intended purpose.

The biggest problem I've had with portable tools in the past has always been batteries. Whether they die too soon, loose charge if left unused or don't last very long when used. I'm not sure who makes the battery for Porter-Cable but it has none of these issues making it a 4 star in my book.

This is my first experience with Porter-Cable tools and they rock! Even the light, which is usually just bag filler, is useful and handy as a hip pocket on jeans. Well designed tools that fit my hands nicely. I haven't used this set long enough to see how the batteries hold up. Good stuff.
