I normally do not leave feedback or review items but I felt I needed to for this one. I have purchased a few of these over the last year because I like the idea behind the item, which doesn't destroy the bottle cap when opening the bottle. However the spring that operates the mechanism is not good. I have had a number of them break after normal usage. That is why I have purchased a few of these. The last time I ordered this product I even ordered 2 just in case. They both arrived with broken springs and were unusable. Good idea bad product.

Works great on standard, pop-top bottles! I tried it on a 500ml bottle of carbonated mead that had a pop top. It sounded like it worked(heard the fizz of the carbonation), but the opener got stuck a bit, and when I got it loose, the cap was still in place. Rather than try again, I just grabbed a regular opener. The top of this mead bottle looked a little non-standard, so,I expected a problem, so, doesn't detract from the rating for me.
