Not a comfortable chair

I hate this chair

Lesson learned - I bought this chair without sitting in it because they didn't have one on display but hey, it's a La-z-Boy. Oh what a mistake. The price was great. because of Labor Day sales. But it is the most uncomfortable chair I ever had. Look at the seat. See how it's in 2 separate sections. I feel like I'm sitting on a lump. The only thing I can figure is it's because of those 2 separate sections. Also, although it seems nicely padded, it is surprisingly hard when you sit on it.

The instructions are very good and it came with the best allen wrench I ever used because it has a handle. All of the screws are in a blister pack and clearly marked. The leather is a nice quality. It was challenging to attach the back by myself because it is so heavy and I had to figure a way to prop it up to align the holes.
The chair is well made and the leather feels like it will hold up well under use

The chair is well made and the leather feels like it will hold up well under use. However, the color in the picture is completely wrong and not at all what I expected. My room is in shades of cream and that is what I expected the chair to be. It is MUCH darker (more like a dark tan). The picture should be changed to show the correct color. I know why the chair Is shown in the cream color--it is much more attractive and eye-catching. That's why I ordered it in the first place. I will keep it, but it is not what I expected.

Best chair I've ever sat in, but. But it only feels sturdy in one position: lowered as far as it can go and reclining. Which is okay since that's my preferred position. But sometimes I want it higher, and it's stuck in the lowest position. Other than that, it's the best quality chair I've ever sat in. So it's hard give it anything less than 4 stars.
