Very disappointing. Can't hold any water bottles; Straps too short; Inside *just* big enough for stuff but awkwardly-shaped.
Yelafingaz✓ Verified Purchase•January 12, 2018
Bought this to use as an EveryDayCarry bag for my walk/bus/walk to work. Very disappointed in a few things.
First off, the ~assumed~ drink pouches on the sides aren't big enough to hold any. They're not made of stretchable material for whatever reason and just quite aren't large enough to accommodate a Nalgene or even a standard sport water bottle. I guess they're meant for grocery store dime-a-dozen non-reusable-plastic waters. The straps above each pouch meant to help hold your crappy 12oz water bottle in the pouch are worthless then, so they just swing about annoyingly and get caught on things. If I were keeping this bag I'd cut them off.
Secondly, this bag must be meant for children. The chest strap and waist strap don't even fit around me, and I'm 5'7 135# and slender. The waist strap will fit but not comfortably or with any layers. It's January and I'm sick of lugging my 30L Jansport around just to hold a knife, apron, sweatshirt, and Nalgene"”but this backpack won't even fit over a hoodie let alone a standard Carhartt or North Face one would need in this consistently -24"“0°F Nebraska winter, or any general winter outside the South. So, add four more buckle straps to cut off that you paid for.
Lastly, the organisation leaves a lot to be desired. There's no outer pouch for small objects like most bags have. The inner 2 pouches of the medium zipper compartment aren't deep enough for a pen's clip to attach and there's not even ONE place in or on the bag meant to hold a pen. These same shallow pouches are also *just* not wide enough to hold a standard pocket Moleskine/Composition notebook. The pouch in the larger zipper compartment is attached to the back side of the bag instead of the flap/front side, so if you put something like a phone charger in there and then have the main compartment full, the awkwardly-shaped object will push into your back and bother you/chafe.
Lastly, the mesh covering everything on the back of the bag & straps is awkward as heck and will definitely cause you to itch if you wear this bag over a thin layer of clothing and are sweating. As a bag allegedly deisgned as an activewear/hiking/backpacking bag, this is extremely counter-intuitive. Putting a THIN layer of poly mesh right on top of solid fabric isn't going to "increase air circulation" or any relative nonsense. The bag is still sitting directly on your body.
Unfortunately the box this came in was trashed before I saw the bag, so the effort it'd take to send this back for a refund isn't worth it. Just another bag to sit in the pile of "things I don't use" storage tote in the garage.

Cute (little) pack

This is a nice little backpack (emphasis on little-- in a good way!).
I wanted something small that could easily fit into a suitcase. This bag did the trick. Super light weight and a nice size for day trips. I bought the hot pink which is a bit more muted than what appears in the pic (it's more magenta in person).
It has 2 holsters for water bottles, 2 main zip compartments, and a small front zip pocket for your phone or keys. The straps are padded and it has a chest and waist strap. As I mentioned -- it's also small! I am 5'2 and I hate gigantic backpacks. This was a nice size!
I should note, this is kind of a starter backpack. If you're looking for something for more rigorous outdoor activity or hiking, then you probably would want something a little more durable.
BUT -- if you're like me and the heaviest thing you want to schlep on vacation is a magazine and flip flops, then you're fine with this! Cheers!

This bag was perfect for a 6 day vacation to Colorado

This bag was perfect for a 6 day vacation to Colorado. I used it as my personal item for the plane (was not allowed a carry on) but it was the perfect size for it. I could keep a sweater, a book and other small items in it. I also used it while hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. the backpack has two side pockets where a regular sized water bottle or Gatorade fits. For our day hiking trip, I was able to fit 4 drinks (including side pockets), an extra pair or clothes, 2 sandwiches, a book. I was trying to pack light as we had a 5 mile hike in the snow. The backpack was very comfortable considering the amount of drinks I had. I have back issues so I was nervous buying a cheaper backpack but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support the backpack had. I would definitely buy this brand again!
Probably not the best stuff for serious hikers but great for beginners like ...

This backpack is very light and fits a everything I need for a day hike, snacks, lunch, drinks and first aid supplies. I am not an expert in hiking gear but I would say if you need a cheap backpack that can hold your stuff for a day, this one does the job. I don't know whether is waterproof but I wouldn't expect it to be. Probably not the best stuff for serious hikers but great for beginners like me. Would definitely recommend.
Best Small Backpack

Perfect sized backpack for day trip or short hikes. I am petite and was looking for a small lightweight backpack to carry my water bottles and some essentials and snacks during hikes and I am pleased with my purchase. It is good quality made and came in perfect condition. Zippers work smoothly. It can hold two regular sized disposable water bottles: one on each side of the bag. Its waterproof. I love the style too!!! I ordered the orange one and its a good shade, I worried it would be safety neon orange but it wasn't bright at all. I did want a color that could be seen by others when I'm in the wilderness and this works. It has a nice mesh backing that allows air to vent so I don't get hot on my back from wearing it. It is Small so be aware of that, but if that's what you are looking for then this is perfect!
