This rain barrel spigot was purchased because it came with the threaded seal we needed to install it in a barrel we had no access to the inside of. It installed easily and hubby applied some calking to help with possible leakage. Time will tell how long the plastic will last here in Arizona.

easy to install! Instructions state to use the enclosed drill bit to cut hole, but does not contain the needed 1 1/4" hole bit. I had on hand so no big deal. Installed in less then 5 minutes (including gathering the tools!). I put it on the bottom of a 55gallon plastic drum and works like a charm!
