I definitely noticed an improvement in skin tone as far as evening it out and it is moisturizing to a certain degree - but if you're expecting CeraVe or Cocoabutter you will be heavily disappointed. It is not.

This is the best body lotion I've ever used. Living in a dry climate my skin takes a beating - this lotion softens and re-hydrates skin. My skin looks younger, healthier, and I'm thrilled with the results. I usually buy the Amara facial moisturizers, but I have used this lotion on my face and it works great! Not greasy at all. Soaks into the skin and immediately begins working its magic. One bottle lasts quite a while, as it doesn't take much-the lotion is easy to spread and work into the skin.
I will definitely buy it again and again. Thanks Amara for your great products.

The lotion absorbed easily and quickly.
I have bloody hands the minute the weather turns and would remain that way all winter without the use of this lotion.

I found it works to make the dark skin spots/patches disappear.
First, I no longer had spots on the back of my hands.
Second, I lost the dark patches on my face by using the very same lotion.

I don't know why I think my purchase will be different than anyone else's but just like others said this lotion has a funky smell. I can't stand it. I'm hoping when I'm not pregnant anymore the smell won't bother me as much. But it works. It's smoothing and brightening. I really love this entire line of products. Most of the other items have a faint rose scent or nothing at all.

This lotion is the absolute best I have ever used! It made a difference the very first application on my very dry hands! It soaks in immediately and leaves no slippery after coating! There is no perfumed smell and the minimal "non-smell" goes away as soon as it soaks in! I have been using this lotion 2 or 3 times a day and my hands are SO soft now! The fact that it soaks right in was really important to me because I color a lot and didn't want to leave marks on my papers or have my pencils slipping around in my fingers and I can apply the lotion and three minutes later I can be coloring! It's also all made in the USA and all organic which I really like. I was really hesitant to pay so much for a bottle of lotion but I am ever so glad I did and when I get low, I will be ordering more! It is more than worth it to have everything I want from a lotion and nothing I don't want!
