Great stuff, almost done with our first container

Great stuff, almost done with our first container. It is expensive, but assuming you can trust that the product is as described (and I do), it is healthy for you as far as fats go, and tastes good. I use it primarily to fry chicken (no breading, etc., just frying the chicken with only the skin on it in a pan) on stove top. The chicken tastes good! I definitely consider the extra cost worth it to have quality lard without all the bad processes/chemicals that would otherwise make it unhealthy.
Excellent Quality & Healthy

Leaf lard is what the gourmet cooks and bakers use. It's wonderful just love it for baking. Great pie crusts and more. I definately will keep buying it. It's hard to find off the shelf consistently. Sure it's pricey but it's worth it! Everything tastes delicious like grandma's cooking that I remember. Good quality lard regular or leaf is very healthy for you. Just make sure the label says the pork is 100% free-range, just like it use to be generations back.
Boy am I glad I found your lard

Thank you, I was having a hard time finding lard. Everywhere I went they told me that lard and vegetable shortening was the same thing. Boy am I glad I found your lard . It gives a good flavor to
Whatever I fry.
Thank you again.
Quality product, just as advertised, delivered on time. Recommended.

Good product for those of us without time or means to cook up our own.
As advertised in all regards: clean, pure, fresh, no 'porky' odor, easy to use.

Only downside: price. Those of us who understand the benefits of more fat (and less carbs) in our diets will want to use lots of it, and that gets a little spendy. Overall, however, when our health is at issue, it's worth it.

If you want flaky biscuits and pie crusts without any of the heaviness of grocery store lard, this is the ticket. The ultimate upgrade/replacement for vegetable shortening in all baking.
