and this stuff comes apart kinda easily, which is why it's 4 stars

It seems to be working okay on my Suzuki Hayabusa full exhaust. Though 2" x 25' was not enough. And I thought I'd have TONS left over. But it was enough to cover the area next to the radiator and the area by the oilpan. And when I ride without socks, I can definitely feel it has helped. My ankles don't melt any longer. And it also resolved a loud rattle where the oil cooler line was rubbing against the left header tube. I soaked this in water for a few minutes and that helped in a couple ways. It helped keep the wrap still while I was wrapping. And it cut down on the fiberglass'ish fibers floating around in the air. But next time I'll do this with long sleeves and a respirator because I still got a bunch of the metal fibers in my arms and legs somehow. And I can't imagine how many were inhaled. Oh, and this stuff comes apart kinda easily, which is why it's 4 stars. That and because it's an entry level product in this category. But you can't beat the price and so far, so good.
It doesn't seem like I can pull them as tight as I want ...

Seems to work really well and much cheaper than alternatives out there. I soaked it in water before installing so that I could get a tighter wrap. The zip ties are ok. It doesn't seem like I can pull them as tight as I want them to be. I ended up using stainless worm clamps on each end of the downpipe I was wrapping and used the zip ties in the center area. 50' was plenty to wrap a catless downpipe for a Subaru WRX STI. On my old downpipe I bought 25' and it ended about a foot shorter than I wanted it to.
The wrap is good. The clamps

The wrap is good. The clamps, no so much. They simply do not get tight or do not bite down as they should. Had to use a hose clamp instead. I also painted the end of the wrap with hi-temp paint to prevent fraying. The wrap smoked a bit on the first warmup but it wasn't too bad. Definitely keeps the headers on bikes cooler.
Strong, secure, but smells from time to time

Be ready for a lot of metal shavings/slivers everywhere when you're using this wrap, especially after its soaked. I used it to wrap my motorcycle exhaust and from time to time it'll smell like somethings burning from the wrap but I'm guessing it's a bit normal or a break-in period type situation. Other than that the wrap is strong and secure. A lot of it unraveled from the starting points of the wrap after it was soaked but that could've been my fault. Would buy again with this current wrapping experience
The wrap material seems good my only complaint is with the ties

Installed this on my 73 beetle with 1600 cc engine, Im running J tubes into a 2 tip GT style exhaust. The 2" x 50' roll was enogh to wrap the pupes and the muffler. The wrap material seems good my only complaint is with the ties. For my car I needed more than was in the package, and the ones it came with didn't feel as strong as the extras I bought, they never tightened up unless there was several layers of the wrap underneath. I bought this for the wrap not the ties so Im still giving it 5 stars.
