Serves purpose well, zipper pulls need redesign
Cinder✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 31, 2017
Very good for my purpose, which is carrying my cell phone during outdoor activities. Only issue is that the zipper pulls rotate and stick in a position where it's difficult to pull them. You have to jiggle them loose, which is annoying. The zippers are a little stiff but as long as they hold up, I dont care. I've only been using it for 2 months tho.
Makes a Good, Sturdy, Water-Resistant Phone Case

I bought this to use as a belt-mounted cell phone case. I prefer using something like this for my cell phone for several reasons. One is that I'm a commuter cyclist, and more common cell phone belt clips and holsters have been known to work their way off the belt or lose their grip on the phone while one is riding, potentially resulting in the loss of the phone. (Admittedly, I have never actually lost a phone that way, but on several occasions, I almost did. I just happened to be riding slowly enough to hear the phone hit the ground.) Also, I found that the only way I would remember my business cards was by carrying them with my cell phone. I have yet to find a regular cell phone holster that incorporates a business card pocket, but it's easy to find cases, like this one, that do.

I've had the case for about a week. The construction of the case is nice and sturdy, with easy-gliding zippers. The small front pocket is a little bigger than needed for holding business cards, but that's OK. I haven't tested the water-resistance claim, and I don't plan to go out of my way to do so. (I read that claim as meaning that it will keep my phone dry if I get caught in a cloudburst while on my bike. I would not recommend immersing the case in water with a phone inside, unless you really don't like that phone!)

I'm ambivalent about the size of the case. I really wanted something smaller, but this was the best fit I could find for my phone, which measures 5-1/2" long by 2" wide by about 3/8" thick. (I found plenty of cases that were too small for my phone, and even more that were much larger.) I finally decided to think of this case as having growing room. The chances are that it will outlast my phone, and my next phone will probably be larger than my current one. I'm also ambivalent about the middle pocket. This case has what amounts to two phone pockets, and I only need one. I suppose one can always find something to do with the extra pocket, but at the moment, it makes for a bit of confusion as to where my phone actually is, as will become clear in a moment.

The only things that are really lacking are the zipper pulls. The first problem with them as that they clank around, sometimes audibly, as I walk. It's not as bad as having bells tied to my ankles would be, but I don't really like going clickety-clack when I walk. The second is that it's too hard to find the zipper pull for the pocket where the phone is, which can make it challenging to get the phone out to answer it before the call goes to voice mail. My fingers seem to gravitate naturally to the shoulder strap loops, which, of course, aren't zipper pulls at all, but short of attacking them with a couple of stout pairs of pliers or a small bolt cutter, I see no way to get rid of them. Besides, that would still leave the zipper pull for the second pocket, which rests too close to the zipper pull for the first pocket to tell them apart by feel. I guess I'm going to have to find an additional zipper pull to add to the pull for the pocket where I keep my phone, and put up with additional clickety-clacking.

But overall, if you're like me, and need a more secure way to carry your cell phone and keep business cards or other accessories with it, it's hard to do better than this case. (I know -- I tried!) And I paid less than $10 for it, so it would be petty of me to complain too much. Alternatively, this could be a really dandy case for a modern pocket point-and-shoot digital camera.
Overall very nice pouch for cell phone, small camera, pens, and other items.

Pros:
1) Two large zippered compartments, one pocket and one small zipper compartment.
2) The openings for the 2 large compartments can be zippered down almost all the way for each access.
3) Strap for crossbody usage
4) belt loop for usage on the belt
5) Come with carabiner to hook on belt loop, etc.
6) Nice material and workmanship

Con:
The quality of carabiner can be better.
Like it but would love to LOVE it

I like it but a few improvements would make me LOVE it. I would love for it to have anti rfid blocking to protect your credit cards. And one of the zippered pockets zips all the way down, although it's not necessarily a bad thing, I am just paranoid that because it unzips all the way down that my things will fall out.
Compact, simple, and convenient!!

I bought this case because I hate to carry a purse but I need something to carry all of my cards, credit cards, cash, AND my cell phone...and keys. What I like about this: there's a front open pocket I can slip my phone in and out of (easy access). I also like the carabiner on the back. It's so easy to clip my keys on and take them off. It comes with a strap that clips on the case but I don't use that (it would just be like having another purse). I also like the two zip compartments. I can actually keep all of my cards, cash, and change in. If I wanted, I could put my cell phone in there too if I didn't want to put it in the front pocket.
What I don't like: I wish there were slots for me to keep my credit cards organized. But that's it. Otherwise, I'm really loving this thing. I was hating having to carry a wallet that was bulging and my phone and my keys. This is compact and keeps it all together nicely.
