It's a good thing this CD is not... TOO LATE.

I have just returned from seeing this band in concert at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. They opened for Passenger. I only went there to see Paper Kites. I have listened to all of their 3 CD's and this is the one that remains my constant background music at work. For those of you who are familiar with The Paper Kites earlier releases I guess this is a departure from their original style however I must say... I like it. It's bluesy and befitting a creation between the hours of Twelve AM in the morning to 4am. My favorites were "Turn's within Me, Turns without Me", "Neon Crimson" (reminiscent of earlier works), "Too Late" (definitely NOT your typical Paper Kites) bluesy vibe to the HILT... i'm talking bob your head, "Electric Indigo" LOVED it but was a surprise as it too was not something I thought I would hear from them. "Revelator Eyes" an easy road trip song for sure!
The music is growing up and spanning different rhythms. I like it and am looking forward to the next one.
