Nice handle and very sleek. If using on bread with a firm crust , like a rustic Italian loaf, it takes a bit to get the blade started. The edge is a wave not a pointy serrated edge. Once you crack the crust it cuts smoothly.

This knife is great. Much better than the cheap one I bought from another big box store. The knife cuts thin slices with ease and minimal crumbs. We're tried it on both sour dough and french bread. Be careful with your thumb/fingers- it's pretty darn sharp and I learned that the hard way.
