As someone else already stated, great value and product. But the teflon tape is absolute crap! I used it. Don't make my mistake. I installed this on a shallow well pump. Lots of threaded transitions into and out of standard PVC fittings to go from well to pump, pump to filters, filters, to pressure tank, etc... Got it all done and turned it on. I had a couple old rolls of teflon tape lying around that I used up before starting to use the tape they supplied with this package. Every single one of my threaded connections where I used my old tape was tight. Every single one of my threaded connections where I used their tape leaked. Several of these connections I can correct easily, all threaded. But a couple of the transitions I'm going to have to cut my PVC, buy more parts, and reinstall. This is going to cost me several hours and ~$30 in parts. They should do everyone a favor by keeping the price the same and NOT include the teflon tape. So ANGRY at the senselessness of it. I'd love to give it 1 star accordingly. But that wouldn't be fair as the product is otherwise perfectly acceptable.

I'm no pro plumber, so buying this kit made my life easier. Zero leaks using teflon tape and pipe dope. Check valve chatters a bit, but I believe this is normal on my old well pump. That might be my only complaint, but it's probably not the parts fault. All the brass seemed of higher quality than what you get from the 2 biggest box home improvement stores. So far, so good. Only con I found is the nipple for the pressure switch is awfully long so no apparent reason. I had to reuse my old one, since the new one drove the pressure switch right into the tank and would not assemble from that point. If they shortened the nipple in half, this would be a stellar kit.
