Only concern is the webbing bridge will wear out quickly. Assume you will be buying petzl ring opens and a replacement bridge when considering this versus the cost of other saddles such as a weaver cougar. It is a copy of petzl sequoia harness.. I rate it as 4 out of 5 stars for that, considering it is about 20% of the price, it is 6 out of 5 stars.
This is a back up harness to give one of my guys who is a bit skinnier than most. I'm waist 34" and 6' tall. The harness is too narrow for me to use comfortably (as is the petzl sequoia)
For a recreation tree climbing saddle this thing is probably perfect. Obviously take into account that this is a china knock off and so most likely no testing has been done on the copy let alone the batch to see if it holds up. In america for tree climbing a saddle must survice a factor 2 fall with a dummy. It's a bit more complicated but assume it needs to hold up above 5400 lbs shock. I doubt the bridge will do that.
Diligent inspection before and after every use is required with all work at height products. This one requires even more scruntiny. If that makes you uncomfortable, buy something in the $200 range weaver, buckingham, etc.. If you want to see if you will like the petzl sequioa before buying it at $400 this is a great way to try it out.
