My grandson loves them, but I keep a very close eye on him while he plays. You do not want your child to run around while holding one. Their construction is hardened to the point their tails and horns can easily cause injury. I was excited to give them to him; however, I should have opened the box out of his line of sight (lesson learned). I will replace them once I find colorful dinosaurs with elasticity.
The dinosaurs are colorful, and a book is included with a picture of each dinosaur, in their respective colors, with the name of each species (e.g., Triceratops). My grandson enjoys looking at pictures and matching his dinosaur with that found in the book.
If it were not for the mentioned concerns, I would have rated the dinosaurs and book five stars.

At least two of these dinosaurs have accompanied my son wherever he goes for the last couple months. He's always doublefisting the dinos. Seriously, he loves these things and is often on his own having some imaginative play with them or lining them up for display. They're made from very hard plastic and have some angles to them, so we were initially worried they would hurt him, but they've been great so far. I've even bought a few sets for other people's kids and they love them just as much.
Good for kids who like dinosaurs.

My kid loves dinosaurs, does your kid love dinosaurs, if so get him/her these. They don't cost much and kids love them. They aren't the best quality but for a toddler, who cares he'll loose them or destroy them before he's old enough to appreciate if there are seems or extra bit's of plastic or some of the markings are inconsistent.
It does come with a little book about dinosaurs which was nice.

Just so perfect! Wish there was a part 2! I read a lot of reviews before buying. I wanted realistic looking dinos (not cartoonish). This is a really great assortment of species in a very creative color patterns. The colors really help the kid fin them in the book. Did I mention it has a book with each species getting it owns 2 pages. Not only does my kid look up these dinos, but she flips through feverishly during dino movies to find matches.
I cannot recommend this enough and I wish they had a flying and water dino part 2 version - would definitely buy it right away!
