This is exactly what all the reviews stated. I made my usual 5lbs that was hard with the Kitchette attachment with this and cranked out early in 5 minutes. Getting ready to defrost more deer meat and make some more deer sausage.

This is the right tool to get the job done. Stuffing 17mm casings was too difficult for the meat grinder to handle, tried a jerky gun (1 lb capacity), which worked, but was too difficult on my hands and a big hassle. The solution was to purchase this stuffer and a 8mm horn (size 5). I was able to stuff 35 lbs into 17mm casings in roughly 1-1/2 hours. That is a bunch of meat sticks!
Easy to assemble and easy to clean. Loading was easy using the tilt load feature. Gears mesh well and was overall fairly easy to use even with the very restricted 8mm horn. I imagine stuffing brats or summer sausage would be a breeze with this machine and it's 7 lb capacity. Perfect size for my intent. Well made, robust product that simply works exactly as advertised.
As mentioned by others, you will have about 1/4 lb of ground meat left in the bottom that will not be stuffed. Fry it up and enjoy a sample of your labor while the stuffed sausage is being smoked or dehydrated.

Smoothly fills your casing. If you have never had a sausage stuffer be sure to keep all of the air out as your putting meat in the canister, no gaps. This is a one man operation, rubber feet that are included keep this from moving on the countertop.
