It fried my headphone jack

I used this for 5 whole minutes before it blew the headphone jack for my iPad! My headphone jack will not read headphones now even with this disconnected. Apple said that headphone jacked are not covered under warranty and now I need to pay to get my iPad fixed! Don't buy this to use in your headphone jack...which means don't purchase this!!!

Corrected I-phone Headphone Jack!

I bought this product in order to correct a problem with my I-phone's headphone jack. Originally, I had tried cleaning out the headphone jack with a dry Q-tip, but my phone continued to play/pause music on its own whenever headphones were plugged into it (I confirmed that this problem was with my phone's headphone jack and not the earbuds). After purchasing this jack extender, I haven't had any problems with the connection between my phone and earbuds! I think that the jack just didn't fit well with the earbuds, so this solved that problem. I would highly recommend if anyone else has a similar problem!

Purchased to use with my aux cable in my car. It fit in my case perfectly, but when I plugged it into my car sound would only come out of one speaker. I know it was the adapter, because it would work if I pushed the adapter just slightly to the side. Bummer, because I'm just really tired of having to take my phone case off every time I want to plug it in.

If you use the smart apple battery case with an iPhone that uses an earplug socket you will need this. Otherwise you can only use wireless Bluetooth headsets.

Solves a big problem with battery packs

If you get a battery pack, like a Mophie, chances are it will come with a flexible headset extender jack. Throw it away. It WILL break, and in spectacularly annoying ways. Eventually, through use, something will get pulled or pinched and create little shorts or breaks in the wiring.
My issue started with lots of static. Eventually it got so bad that if I turned my head it would hang up my call.
Get this instead. I'm sure it has its fatal flaws, too, but it does a better job of holding up to the strain, from what I can see.
