There are a lot of promises made about this soap, I'm not going to embellish on those or rave on about this. It does not have: anything that sets off my allergies. No annoyingly strong aromas (smells like soap), no sodium laureth sulfate, no other weird chemicals. It arrives as a large rectangular chunk of soap, you could easily cut 3 or 4 regular sized bars out of it, maybe more. You do want to apply this to a wash-cloth or sponge instead of directly to skin. So far, this is good stuff. I've been using it a couple of weeks.

I started using this product for my face exactly about a week ago and the results are incredible. I have a dark/lightskin tone and this soap is just perfect. What have I notice within one week of using it? First, my oily forehead is actually getting better. Now the amount of oil I remove from my face is considerably less. Second, blackhead are starting to fade. I had some stubborn blackheads that woul not go away and now the soap is doing it's magic. Third and my favorite observation is that old breakouts are drying up and dead skin is disapearing from my face. In all, I just like the way that this soap is helping my skin look and feel better, specially because other products would irritate my face really bad.

This product is stellar. I have just started using this soap and already I can see the difference in how it controls my oily forehead and nose.
I also have these spots on my face and skin. They are yellowish. It's called seborrheic dermatitis. I have battled with this for years. I am 36 years old and I began seeing these spots when I was 17.

Love black soap. It can be hard to find it in the bar, but it's my favorite. You can always dilute a little bit with water if you want to make liquid soap. I'm allergic to perfumes and a lot of synthetic ingredients, so it's great to be able to find soap that doesn't make me break out in hives! I use it as body wash, face wash, shaving cream, hand soap, pretty much everything! Some people find it off putting that it's black and doesn't foam like traditional soap does, but it doesn't bother me any more.
