This dispenser is fantastic. It's marketed as a commercial dispenser and it certainly seems to perform like one - it's solidly built and well designed - but it is doing a great job as a "shop towel" dispenser in my home. I do a lot of furniture refinishing and painting, along with some plastic work here and there, and it is very common for me to be covered with paint or stain and need to grab something. I have a big stockpile of "rag" towels that are pretty disgusting. Having a dispenser that I can just wave my hand under is a huge upgrade for me! The towels are thick and absorbent for paper towels, and you can set your own custom size if you want. I'm using the default size but it's nice to know that if I have a particularly big project I can make it produce a longer towel sheet.

The directions are easy and clear. As a regular, handy home owner I was able to put this up with minimal fuss. I have the key in my hardware chest, because you need it if you want to change anything.

Lastly, you can order replacement towels on Amazon. My friend in the commercial cleaning industry told me that I should stick to using the same towels as the brand advises, because some brands will not work with generic towels. I haven't gone through my first roll yet, but I'm considering that a word to the wise.

This is not my first Georgia-Pacific towel dispenser, I've had the EnMotion model in in my shed for a couple of years now and its been running perfectly since installation. This new designer series have the same features and functionality my previous model but in black. If i was single, this would go into my kitchen no questions asked, but even though this is called "designer series", the wife would not approve. However in an office setting, this will look great!

Here's why you should install one of these in your garage. You can keep your towels in one spot, no more hunting where you last put your tissues while cleaning. You can set this dispenser to practically any setting you like, I have mine set to auto dispense, once paper is pulled a new sheet is dispensed. I have mine set to medium length but can be set to short and large. If you have kids at home or compulsive paper towel users, you can set a delay after each sheet is dispensed, this will deter or annoy them enough to stop using too much paper.

This is an excellent paper towel dispenser! I have no doubt will last a very long time.

This towel dispenser is a great addition to my workshop. Gone are the days of trying to fish for a paper towel with my hands dripping with motor oil. This dispenser always has a towel at the ready no matter how much of a mess I have gotten myself into.
The dispenser is a marvel of plastics engineering. It has a minimal amount of metal parts, it is almost all plastic. I have looked at units from other manufacturers and they are similar in construction.
You can adjust the length of the towel that it dispenses and the mode of having one hanging out all the time or dispensing one on demand. You can also adjust the motion sensor sensitivity. It uses 4 d-cell batteries. It mounts to the wall with 2 keyhole slots and 2 fixed screw holes.
There is a note inside basically saying you have to use their towels only. It serves as a reminder that it is the cost of the towels that really matters, not so much the dispenser.

This dispenser is a great addition to our restroom. It looks great and has saved us a bunch on paper towels.

You see this type of touch-less towel dispenser in many bathrooms these days... you love them because it's quick and easy and the towels don't tear like they do in the old-fashioned pull towel dispensers... So why not get the same tech for your small business or home? I can't see putting this type of dispenser in your bathroom or kitchen, it's just not pretty enough for the refined areas of your house. but your mud room, garage, or workshop? PERFECT!

The unit us heavy, so please mount it to studs and not just drywall. I'm sure that you could find effective $10 drywall mounts and secure the unit if you're adamant to do so, but save your wall and hook into at least one stud to secure the unit strongly. The dispenser comes with a unique key for a quick twist to open swing down access to the internals. This unit comes pre-loaded with a full roll of towels!! excellent Georgia Pacfic! Without watching the YouTube video I easily installed the included 4 d-cells and threaded the paper to the opening. Closed the unit, and presto.. works like a champ. The included towels and batteries made this an instant gratification installation.

The front of the unit has a clear strip of plastic that you can put an accent strip behind. I tried the silver and the granite look for fun. In my workshop, that doesn't really matter to me, but I can see it combining well with the white plastic edition and a finished space. It's worked flawlessly for a week - and was really helpful when I was cleaning paint brushes to have a touchless towel dispensed when needed.

It is what it is.. and it works great.
