This is my third OneTweak pedometer that I have purchased over the years. The first one I lost after a year of constant use, I had knocked it off while getting a shopping cart and didn't realize until later in the evening that was the sound I had heard when it hit the ground. Alas when I went back to search for it I wasn't able to find it. The second one lasted a little longer before it was accidently run through a wash/spin cycle before I realized it. I fished it out during the rinse cycle with it still firmly attached to my shorts. I didn't have high hopes that it would still function since there was plenty of visible condensation inside. Happened to have my dehydrator running so placed it on a tray, figured I had nothing to lose. Checked it after 6 hrs and it was dead. Popped the battery compartment open and it was full of water. Dumped the water out and put it back in the dehydrator (minus the battery) until all the condensation appeared to be gone. Was extremely surprised it even powered up after inserting the battery. The mode and reset button would not work nor were the numbers completely legible but it was running. It was in step mode when it went into the wash and could see enough to tell it was still in step mode. I wore it for a few days until my new one arrived as it was actually still counting steps, just had to guess on the numbers somewhat, like was it 48 or 88 or 38. Could tell when I hit my 10k goal since there were 5 numbers lite instead of 4. When the new one arrived I wore the old one a few more days to try and determine if it was still counting steps accurately compared to the new one. It appears it was so will hang onto it as a spare for the inevitable time when the new one gets lost (I am pretty active outside and I wear it on the inside of the waist band but twisting, pulling and pushing tree branches while clearing the trail it does get knocked around bit.) As you can tell I am completely happy with my OneTweak pedometers. Its not the fault of the pedometer I am rough on them. I have tried several other brands over the years but found they were not as accurate.

My only wish is they were more water resistant or waterproof as I am outdoors every day rain or shine. I am apt to be near water when doing trail work. But I already know it could probably take a quick dunk and still function. I know there are spray products available to waterproof electronics so that might be an option for me to try.
Very pleased with the OneTweak pedometer!

Very pleased with it!!! The first pedometer, another brand, I ordered, aand then I returned. Complicated (and I'm a good direction-follower). Got frustrated. Went back to Amazon and found this one. Delivered quicker than I expected. Received an email inviting me to call for assistance if needed. Followed the setup (which was also available to follow online--bigger print!), and it worked fine. Once or twice I made an error -- easy to back up a step and get it correct. Have been using it now for a few weeks. Just put it in my jeans pocket every morning and forget about it. Take it out at the end of the day, and I can see what I've done. Have to remember to check it before midnight, though, because it's set to 're-set' at midnight. Again, very pleased with.
A wonderful pedometer with superb customer support.

I really like this pedometer (I had an Ozeri before this -- could not remove the battery). Set up was easy with very clear instructions. It has proven to be incredibly accurate. It also is quite light and comes with a lanyard that can be worn around one's neck. And the belt clip securely holds the pedometer, which I can tell you is not always the case with other pedometers. One more thing, support is UNBELIEVABLE. After I purchased it, the President of the company wrote me to find out if I had any difficulty with set up and gave me his phone number! I had one small question, by the way, that was in fact dealt with in the instructions, and submitted it via email. I got a very quick response, again from the President himself. An accurate twenty first century device with amazing early twentieth century personal customer support.
Perfect purchase!

I walk a LOT at work, and I'm always curious exactly how much that is. I have had pedometers in the past that didn't work exactly the way I wanted (more expensive ones than this), so I did a lot of research and asking around before settling on this one. This one has been perfect for me. I also do a lot of bending and squatting at work, so figuring out a good way to wear a pedometer is an issue. I actually clip this one to the middle front of my bra and it's perfect! I don't even notice it's there until I want to check my progress.
You will not regret working with this seller either. You get very personal and friendly service with lots of useful information. I haven't had any issues with the product at all, but I have no doubt that if I did they would be resolved quickly and with no trouble. Wonderful product from wonderful people.
Finally, an accurate pedometer at a reasonable price

Finally, a pedometer that's accurate, tracks useful information, has a holder with a strong clip, a lanyard if you prefer to hang it on your neck, is well designed and seems well built. I've dropped it on the street and it just kept going. Add to that, it's very reasonably priced.

The best part is the customer service. The owner has sent three emails offering helpful hints and tips and even provided a personal cell phone number if needed. The owner's emails almost begged me to call if I needed any help with setup or any questions for that matter. It's like the customer service is from another planet! I asked one question in an email before using the device. The response came back in about an hour with five paragraphs of explanation, offering more than one option to accomplish what I wanted to do. Not even Apple does that.

Several reviews have mentioned the difficulty with setup. I found the instructions to be clear with both text and pictures, concise but comprehensive, large type font and well illustrated in color. This is an electronic device with lots of features and if you want to set it up to take advantage of all of them, you need to be able to follow and execute 9 steps. I'm trying not to overstate this but, to me, these instructions are very clear and easy to follow.

The only difficulty I had in setup was the quick timeout on each setup step. For example, when you're entering your stride length, if you don't do it quickly, it times out in just a few seconds. The first time through, I thought about some of the prompts too long and got timed out. The second time through, I wrote all the answers down and entered them quickly. Doing so got it setup on the second try. In one of the helpful emails, the owner warns you to act quickly to avoid timeouts. Other than that I found setup to be straightforward and logical.

A note of caution: if you're using the holder/clip to attach the device to you pocket or belt or whatever, be aware that the buttons are located right about where you put your thumb or forefinger to release the clip. Thus, it wouldn't be too hard to inadvertently press a button when removing the device from your pocket, belt, etc. However, it's not a big problem. Unless you press and then hold the button for a few seconds, no harm is done.

This is the third pedometer I've tried, one of which was a pricey Fitness Band (which was not at all accurate whenever I was sweating). This is the best of the three. I've only used it for a week, so if something changes, I'll update this review.
