First, I did not pay attention and thought I was buying pouches so that is on me. However, my husband did try it and promptly spit it out. He said it tasted nasty. He would consider trying again if pouches were available.
Consistency is different and he didn't like it.

Bought it for my son in hopes it would replace his dip habit. He's willing to quit but this didn't help. Consistency is different and he didn't like it.

I will give you this..... it is the best replacement on the market today for real tobacco, but still not too close to the real deal. I used Jake's and real tobacco for a while, but have now quite altogether. No more dipping. If I get the urge, I will use Jake's before I go back to the real stuff and can hopefully stay off snuff forever....

I am a Berry Skoal user. Jakes wintergreen has a goog chewing tobacco texture and is consistent like skoal. Problem, flavor! It takes like lawn grass and has a bad after taste. So heres what I did... took three cans of Jake and mixed it with one can of berry Skoal and compacted it into two Skoal cans. Still taste the grass a bit buth much better. I have gone ahead and ordered the 11 pack of all the Jakes flavors to see if there is on I like. Again for Skoal and Kodiak and Grizzly users, the texture is good and hold together nicely!
