Overall, I like them and will probably buy more. Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that the "white" is not white at all, it is more like a light gray. As you can see by the photo I attached, I have white trim around my windows (dark gray sheers) and the blinds are in no way white. Also despite what the video shows about how "easy" it is to trim these blinds, it is not! You have to have a super sharp, sturdy blade and great wrist strength, neither of which I have so it was difficult for me to custom trim them. Matter of fact, I didn't. Someone else helped me. I read previous reviews before I bought them and decided to also get double-sided tape to help them stay put. If I have any issues with that, I will add a review. Otherwise, for now, I like them. They look very nice. Even though the white isn't white, it fits my decor and I had someone to help me trim them so that was a plus. Once up they are very easy to use - they come down without much need to pull and go up with just the lightest touch.

Whoever wrote the part in the instructions that suggests just using a kitchen knife to make the cut, is 100% on my Apocalypse hit list. There is zero chance of that ever working. Maybe if the knife was extremely hot? I used two of the sharpest military grade knifes I have, and even they were a nightmare to use. An electric saw would of been great. If you have access to shop power tools, then you'll be fine. I have no clue what I could use other than a power tool to make a simple and clean cut. OTHER THAN THAT"¦ I loved that I could cut this shade down to the Exact Size that I wanted. I have some weird thing where I want shades/blinds/curtains to fit perfectly, and accurately close off any and all view from the other side. When I have them drawn, I want a a tight seal of privacy. Anyway.. This shade gave me exactly that "” So I am ecstatic about that part! The adhesive is crap, and my house sometimes holds humidity. I wanted a strong hold, so that I don't need to baby the shade or worry about it falling. I grabbed some all-weather Velcro from the local hardware shop, and just cut pieces to go along the top, then attached it that way. It worked flawlessly and I am greatly pleased by how easy that made everything. I have zero worries about this shade ever falling down on its own, and I can use it without needing to use a feather touch. I will be ordering another one for my other window.. But I will be finding a shop or neighbor to cut it down for me, unless by some miracle I can find an easy way to make the simple needed cut.

These blinds are great and so easy to install/remove. They're super renter friendly and truly blackout light.

Theres two reasons Id give these only 4/5 stars.
First, I have four of these and one has come unstuck and fallen off the window after about 2 weeks of use. No big deal though, I just put some command strips on it and put it back up. Other reviewers have suggested screwing them in which would also work, but isn't as renter friendly.
Second, the 30in size is only actually 29inches wide, so if you have a 30in wide window you'll end up having half an inch gaps on either side of the blind which can let in quite a bit of light, so if you have 30in wide windows I'd suggest splurging on the larger size and cutting it to exactly 30 if you want to most effectively block out light with no gaps. In the same vain, the measurements printed on the blinds that indicate where to cut them are skewed half an inch. For example, if you have a 28in wide window and cut at the 28in mark on each side of the blind, the blind will actually end up measuring 27.5 once cut. Again, if you seriously want blackout with no gaps, I'd suggest cutting to the 28.5in mark on the blind to get a tight fit with no gaps.

While it does a good job of meeting most of my requirements for a window treatment, there are a few issues that prohibit me from giving it five stars.

When the sun was shining in the morning and I wanted to relax in my room, this was a great addition. Unexpectedly, the shade's capacity to muffle outside noise greatly improved the quality of life inside.

In order to accommodate a wide range of window shapes and sizes, the "Trim-at-Home" function has been included. The time and effort saved by not having to hire a professional to cut and fit the shade was well worth it. Trimming was a breeze thanks to the detailed directions, and the outcome was a customized and tidy appearance.

I would give this product five stars if it weren't for a few issues. While "no tools" installation was promised, considerable work was required to ensure the shade was installed securely. The included adhesive strips did a good job of keeping the shade in place, but I found that more was needed to make sure it fit securely, especially on bigger windows.

The blackout function was very effective, however there was some light seepage around the shade's edges. This became more noticeable while trying out various shade heights. It didn't severely impair the shade's performance, but its blackout qualities were compromised.

Because of its neutral color and simple silhouette, the white cloth shade can be used in a variety of settings. The cellular design gives the shade a touch of subtle texture without detracting from its otherwise sleek and modern look.

Those in need of discretion and light regulation will find the Redi Shade No Tools Easy Lift Trim-at-Home Cordless Cellular Blackout Fabric Shade an excellent option. It's a great addition to any home because it's cordless, has blackout material, and can be made to fit any window. Installation can be tricky, and some light may still get through, but these issues are outweighed by the shade's usefulness and convenience. This product gets four stars from me since it does a good job overall and might be much better in several ways.

I love these shades! They block out all the light, you can not see through them and they were so easy to install without any damage to the window frame. They also help to keep the heat and the cold out and I love that you can just push it up and pull it down. Get this, you won't be disappointed.
