Great idea but big design flaw!

Great idea and love the remote BUT if you even tap them lightly... like when you are raising or lowering a shade Or curtain... they switch on! Which completely ruins the auto timer aspect then you have to go back and reset them at the time you wanted them on initially it's a bit of a hassle ðŸ'

I've had these for about 1 week now. They are lightweight and fall over easy if adjusting curtains. Need to use velcro or something to keep them on the sill. They don't seem to adhere to the programming of on/off. I scheduled them for 4 hours and some stay on all the time, some flicker even though I have then set to steady. The glow is definitely more orange than white. I"m a little disappointed, but considering what is out there to purchase, they are okay.
Love the candles, wish I would give a 4.5 star

Love the candles, would prefer to give a 4.5 stars. I put velcro on the bottom of them and on the window sill to keep them in place and so that the cats won't knock them over. I noticed though if I bump into one of them in particular that it will turn on then I have to reset the timer, kind of annoying but otherwise love the timer function.
I was reading other reviews before purchasing these and was concerned when people said a yellow/orange light as I wanted something more clear/white, but I have to say that I don't even realize that they have a little yellow tint, but not what some people were saying. Although we all see color differently but I felt they reflected the picture.
Don't look/feel cheap to me. The only thing is that I wish that they sold the top candle aspect of the unit incase the light dies at some point so I don't have to buy the hole unit again.

Very disappointed in this candle. They came with batteries and remotes. I purchased 256 candles and they never worked properly. We read the instructions and foolowecthem so that they would all come on by 5pm and then time out at 9pm. After a week we replaced all the batteries (600 batteries) went to the website and reset them again with remotes. I am removing them in Thursday because they have not turned on 5 nor shut off at 9pm. Actually they stay on continuously. I personally have this type of candle in my home and we screwed the light down at the time we wanted them to come on each day and them 6 hours later they time out. I do not recommend this product to anyone. There is a disconnect with the candle and remote. Too much money spent for them not too work. Rey disappointed.
Expensive but do the trick

I bought two sets of these and a set of the same candles with the silver base (both by LampLust). I don't see any difference in the color of the "flame" or the brightness. And, yes, both silver and gold are the same brightness--not very. I have no idea why these are so expensive. Although I would prefer the brighter, electric candles, I am keeping these because I don't have plugs close to all the windows where I want candles. I like having the remote, but still need to master getting them to turn on/off at the same time. One set of batteries were duds, but the rest worked fine. Also got the Holiday Joy - Window Candle Holder Clamps (for those windows with not enough of a sill) which work great.
