Exactly what I needed. Worked great, delivered on time. I used these to attach a 2x6 to a 4x10 steel tube with a 3/16 wall. I used a 3/16" pilot drill due to the thickness and then screwed these in. No issues and the screws cinched right up!

I have a project where I'm affixing 2x2 furring strips to the heavy steel ribs of a metal building so that I can put up sheetrock. I originally purchased "Everbuilt" tek screws from Home Depot. They melted down - every one of them. After pre drilling a number of holes, I finally gave up on the project until I could find tek screws hard enough to drill through the thick steel.
And find them I did! These Chenago Supply Stainless #12 x 2" tek screws drilled into the steel ribs like a hot knife through butter. It took only moderate pressure and two or three seconds for them to drill through and fasten the furring strip. These are definitely top quality. I will be buying more for future projects.
