Super Cute & Pretty Good for the Price!
Blondie✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 25, 2023
FOR THE PRICE, these are 5 stars. Please don't think you're buying the same quality as LL Bean, Lands End, or any of the like. You're not.But they're a great buy and super cute and wearable! Prior to buying these boots, I ordered a traditional pair of duck boots from LE on sale. I was going to be traveling to the northeast over the holidays and needed a pair of cold/wet weather boots.

The LE boots were obviously of better quality as reflected in the price. But they just felt more bulky overall even though they look fine when wearing them. I was worried if I could fit them in my suitcase. Likely because the leather was better quality and more stiff and needs breaking in. Plus, the leather went all the way to the top of the boots, whereas with these Nature Breeze boots, the fleece upper also makes them a bit more comfortable at the top with more flexibility.

I was wearing the LE around the house a few days trying to break them in a bit before my trip. Then I saw these and was more pleased with the BLACK rubber/BROWN leather combo. The boots I got from Lands End only came in blue rubber/brown leather or black matte rubber/black matte leather (which I did not like at all). The blue rubber/brown leather combo from LE is typical and fine and goes with plenty of things. I just thought the black rubber / brown leather was a bit more stylish and more compatible with some of my outfits (like black skinny jeans, etc).

PROS of THESE BOOTS-
1. More stylish with the black rubber/brown leather combo and fleece topper than the LE boots.

2. LOVE the side zipper so that you don't HAVE to tie/untie the laces to put on or take off the boots. My LE boots didn't have that option, but think it would be nice feature! I only used the zipper unless it was time to just tighten up the laces after several wears.

3. Size - I'd suggest going up a size. I normally wear a 9 in most shoes. As suggested, I ordered up a size and got a 10 in these and it worked 'mostly' perfectly. A 9 would have been too tight and no room left for inserts or warm socks. I did find that when walking, my heel would slip a bit in one boot because one of my feet is slightly smaller than the other. I just inserted one of those heel pads/cushions to the inside of the boot to fill up the space. It seems to be fine as long as the laces are nice and tightened as normal. Didn't get any blisters while walking.

4. Decent friction on bottom of boots - I walked around in Boston while it was snowy and icy and felt pretty stable all things considered on mostly de-iced sidewalks. At some point, you're going to bust your arse no matter what if you're walking on icy patches. Luckily, I avoided any events like that. There is actual tread that helps create grip when walking. Don't think the tread is as good of quality as the LE boots, but again considering the price of these boots, I think it's pretty great.

CONS OF THESE BOOTS -

1. Not that warm. My Lands End boots are much more warm inside after walking around in cold/wet conditions for extended times. Again, they're way more expensive so it's a trade off. I wouldn't get these Nature Breeze as your primary boots for consistently cold/wet weather unless you're going to wear really warm/double socks or something. My toes did start to feel cold pretty quickly, but I imagine the rubber of the LE boots is also better quality.

2. Foot bed not that comfy. They're NOT uncomfortable. But the sole of the LE boots were much more cushy and supportive. These are kinda hard. I put some cushioned inserts inside of mine (had plenty of room for that). They still weren't as comfortable, but I wasn't uncomfortable walking several blocks in them either.

I think these are a nice edition to your boots if you're not in crazy climates and trying to use these are your main foot wear. For the price, they're super cute and do have a lot of good qualities. I hope the comparison between these less expensive boots against more expensive ones helps you out. I've kept both pairs because I've discovered each one is better for certain environments or use.
OK for my needs

I like the boots now that I have modified them. There is no foot support or cushioning so I bought some gel cushions and they have helped the feel. However, they also made the fit a bit tighter for my feet. I normally wear a 6 or 6.5. I ordered a 6.5 and with the gel inserts, the foot area is more snug and almost too small but a 7 would have been too big. The zipper needs to come down a little lower on the side. They are hard to get into but are getting better. I bought these to wear in campgrounds at at my barn, not for long walks or hikes, so they work for my needs.
Can't beat that price

I received my boots on Tuesday and have had them for almost four days now. I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5, so I went with the size 10. They're still a bit more snug than I'd like but they are wearable. These boots were not made with wide footed women in mind. They are very narrow, just a heads up for any fellow women who were cursed with wide feet.
The colors were even better in person than shown in the pictures. The boots have very vibrant colors but not so vibrant that they would be categorized as "flashy". The material feels very well made for the price. Usually, my biggest worry with boots in this price range is the zipper, but the zipper seems sturdier than I expected which I definitely appreciate.
My one concern is the stitching on the right boot. I noticed a few loose threads near the laces but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues. Other than that, great boots. If you plan on hiking in them, I suggest buying comfort inserts since these boots offer very little in the way of support.
These are great!

I ordered the taupe boots in a 7.5. I'm a true 7 & I think the fit in the 7.5 will be good. My heel pops up a little when I tried them on w/o socks, but I think whenever I wear them w/ socks then they'll be great. My toes don't have any extra room, but that's not to say they're uncomfortable; I think they're just snug from the great insulation.
These boots are warm, comfy & cute! (I think I'm most excited about the perfect taupe color!)
I originally purchased them bc they're waterproof, but I'm excited to have them available to me if I ever go up north & see that stuff called snow haha!
My only reason for giving 4/5 stars is because I can already see some creases forming on the boots, but I'm not concerned enough to return them - the pros definitely outweigh the con.
Size Matters

I am a true size 6 so I ordered a 6.5 so I could wear socks. At first I thought they were still too small and was going to return them for a size 7 but after a while I decided to keep them. The socks you wear makes a difference so it really depends. I prefer to wear my calf nike socks with them and it keeps me very warm and a good snug, regular thin socks leaves more room in the boot, and fuzzy socks make it really tight. So if you plan on wearing thick wool or fuzzy socks I say order an entire size up, if you're planning on wearing just thin regular socks I would say just go up half a size up. ---- Keep in mind that over time the boot will get looser just like every shoe does, it just takes time to break them in to get a good fit so don't feel discouraged if you get them and they're a little tight because time and wear can fix that. These are just my suggestions when it comes to sizing :) the boots and the socks I wear with them keep me warm but I haven't had a chance to try them out in the rain yet, and I live in Mississippi so I'll probably never get to test them out in the snow lol
