Very informative breakdown on all part changes made over the lifetime of the two transmissions. Shows you how to tell if your transmission has certain mods or not and updates or changes you can make to prevent certain typical problems. I would strongly recommend using this book along with a rebuild manual to aid you if you are planning on doing a rebuild.

Perfect supplement to the blue book, If you are rebuilding a tranny you must have the blue book first, this one has some extra info and diagrams but the detailed step by step disassembly and reassembly is only in the blue book. This one covers changes and modifications that occurred after the blue book was created.
