Really impressed with this, especially for the price. This has revolutionized my work! My office is in our basement, with no windows. But working upstairs with beautiful natural light, and my family, around was not possible because I had nowhere to sit comfortably. Now I can bring out my little lapdesk and plop right down in the floor, get a few minutes' work done, and then store it away for some wrestling time with my kids :-) It comes fully assembled, and adjusting the legs is a breeze. The screws for adjusting seem sturdy and of good quality, so that's nice. The price was great, and I got it the next day thanks to Amazon's amazing shipping!!

I use this for reading in bed, mostly. I have arthritis in my hands and it has become more painful lately to hold up a book or even my Kindle while lying in bed (my favorite place for reading). The laptop stand is perfect for holding a Kindle or other tablet for reading. I haven't yet tried with a book, but I don't think a hardcover - or even a paperback - would stay. Since I don't use my laptop in bed, I can't speak to that either. But for my specific problem, this is a good solution.

I really like this laptop stand. It's roomy enough to allow for the laptop and a mouse, but not huge. The height of the legs is adjustable. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't snap the legs in place. When I have it on the bed and need to move it, that makes it quite inconvenient. I have already pinched my fingers in the sides. But if you're careful enough with it, it does the job. It's really solid and will last a very long time.

I ordered the extra wide model to give me more space to place everything I like to have nearby while I am working. After a couple days of use, I am quite pleased with this product. I have been able to prop up my Surface Pro 3 at any angle. I have a folio case that supports my Surface beyond the depth of the desk (see pic). The ledge did not interfere with comfortably accessing the keyboard. The drawer is tiny, but I am using it to store my headset when I take a break. I love that I can fold my legs or stretch them out throughout the day.
A piece of the drawer had come apart during shipping. I simply glued it back together and it works perfectly. Overall stability is good especially on a firm surface. It would be great if the manufacturer created a way to lock the legs open when using it on a bed. It is not bad when using in bed, but could be a little more stable.

Overall this is a pretty nice uhh, guess you could call it a desk. Fits my Alienware 13r2 just fine. The fan position underneath the table is in the right spot for the intake on the laptop. Now there are some rough spots on the wood here and there. And the magnet for the storage drawer is so weak it wont even keep itself closed. But i did not get it for the storage drawer or even for aesthetics, i got it so i can comfortably use my computer in bed. This thing is huge though, a king size mattress is almost a must if you have a partner in bed they will be fighting for space if not. if you have a queen or less get the smaller version, youll end up much happier.
