My 5 year old is a dirt digger.
I wish the bucket was metal like the rest of it but it's hard plastic. It's probably not going to last long and won't dig in dirt that's compacted.

After playing at a park with one we knew we needed one for our two year old. My two year old son has really enjoyed this purchase. I love the versatility of it: sand or snow. We actually have ours inside right now and are using it with a small pool filled with dried corn. At two, he's a bit small for the device (and stands in front of the seat), but he picked up how to use the controls immediately.
As far as construction, the handles/mechanics are made of a thinner metal, the seat/support are thicker metal, and the scooper and chair are plastic. The plastic scooper has held up for us so far, but I could see some materials being too hard or heavy for it.
Overall, we are quite satisfied with our purchase. It was a great price, and we hope our son can continue using it year-round and for several years to come!

This is so cute and actually works. Ive had it in the sandbox for several months so its gotten plenty of use. It had to be repaired once but still works. Next time i might spend a little more and get one that is heavy duty.

This is perfect for my 2 year old. He can easily get on and off the seat by himself. But still holds my 10 year old and feels comfortable for her. The bucket digs, and was easy to figure out. Putting it together took about 30 minutes, instructions were easy to follow.
