We designed these reusable straws to be the best metal straws you can buy for Half Pint (8oz) Mason jars, but they are also great for most other kid size cups, coffee mugs, and rocks or cocktail glasses! Before we designed these short straws, our kids were always tipping over their drinks because their reusable straws were too long.
• •The rounded ends are noticeably less sharp and more comfortable in your mouth, and they are safer in the event you accidentally poke yourself! Treat stainless steel straws like other metal utensils - Always supervise children! Don't let a child move around with one, and please be careful!
• •Our 5 3/4″ long, 8mm outside diameter stainless steel straws fit in most of our straw hole tumbler lids and are perfect for drinking any beverage. The 6.2mm internal diameter is a great all-purpose size. They work well for water, juice, iced tea, coffee, soda, etc and also smoothies, yogurt, milk shakes, frozen cocktails, or protein shakes.
• •The 10.5mm locking tab near the end will hold the straw in our straw hole lids so they cannot fall out without removing the lid. This is great for kids who pull their straws out and can't get them back in, and if the drink gets tipped over the straw stays in the jar. You need to put the straw in the jar first, then put the lid over the top and screw it on.
