This may be good for younger dogs, but my 16 year old dog didn't like it - even though he needs it. He weighs less than 10# and I found it hard to get the cap to fit properly. It sat more on top of his head, rather than allowing his ears to come through as they should. One good head shake and the hat was around his neck. The hat does work for my daughter's dog, but she is only 2 years old. The concept is good, but just did not work for us.

Cute little doggie cap but runs very small. I have 14lb Havenese and cap barely fits. I purchased more for a one time dress up affair so am not all that dismayed at how small the cap is as it will work for one time, but if you are planning to get much use be sure and order larger size

This is such a adorable little hat for my little Shih Tzu Bellah! I accidently ordered a M size as her head is really small so I have to get S size. It fit her perfectly! The absolute cutest hat. Well made. My 6 lb Pomeranian looks super cute in it, although she's not impressed with the hat. The brim is nice for protecting her eyes. It would work on a dog that's a bit larger, too, but not smaller than 5 lbs. It's held in place by a rounded cord run through a "clasp" --the kind where you just tighten it and it stays in place--sort of like a kid's cowboy hat. I position the "clasp" near her ear and tuck the extra cord length up under the cap. My 5-lb chihuahua can wear it but it's a tad bit large on her--looking for one for tiny dogs.
