I was really excited to build this with my son. Unfortunately they thing falls apart with the lightest touch. The trailer portion that houses the batteries would not stay connected to the cab portion. It was fun to put together with my son but he lost interest quickly due to it constantly falling apart.

I bought three of these for kids to put together, and after putting them together, zero of three motors worked. We've successfully built about a dozen 4M kits before, so we were either incredibly unlucky (0 of 3 worked) or the design has a problem.

I purchased this as a gift for my friend's daughter (age 9). She had a good time putting it together but was disappointed to find that the motor didn't work. I would have returned it had my friend told me about the problem immediately- and I forgot to ask!
