I bought this as a first aid kit for a small adventure motorcycle.

The value is excellent. The build quality is pretty good. I wish there was a little more room for additional items because many people will want to add some of their own specialty items. I was able to add an assortment of OTC medications in single dose packs and a few topical packets of burn ointment, hydrocortisone anti-itch ointment, and triple antibacterial ointment.

Safety pins are handy but 15 seems a bit excessive in a small kit.

The tourniquet is light duty but probably adequate.

The medical scissors also seemed light duty but adequate. Most small first aid kits in this price range omit this very useful item.

The CPR mask is an item I probably won't use as the last I checked, the recommendation was chest compression only. I removed the sterile eye wash, useful as it is, as something I was concerned might spill in rough handling or freeze and rupture.

The small tweezers are a great item that's often overlooked. Many small first aid kits have little or no gauze and no tape but this kit has a small but useful quantity of each, as well as moleskin, fingertip bandages and knuckle bandages. Many inexpensive kits get a high item count at a low cost by including way too many of the same low quality adhesive bandages in maybe two sizes. This kit has useful amounts of bandages in a wide variety, including specialty bandages that might commonly be needed.

Pro Tip: A first aid kit is always carried and for most people, seldom used. I slipped my first aid kit into a 4 mil thick clear plastic bag and heat sealed it to waterproof it. It's easy to rip open the bag if needed and I can reseal it when I return from my trip. This is a very inexpensive and lightweight method to waterproof a first aid kit. 6 mil plastic would be even better.

this little first aid kit is so convenient. it was well worth the money. It was easy to travel with are use it every day. The zipper part is still holding on so it hasn't broken me yet easily portable in the storage space is just enough like not so much that's a little, it is kind of small, though in the adhesion of the bandages are really good.

I'm a former EMT, wife of a LEO, a mother of 4, and Director of HR. I mention this because first aid and safety is a second nature, daily component of every aspect of my life, every day. I had been doing a poor job piecing together a medical bag of my own; it's a lot to stay on top of. Situations change, resources get used, you forget to replenish your stock, medication expires, you really don't ever think of something you REALLY need, until you don't have it.

THIS KIT HAS IT ALL. I have this bag with me AT ALL TIMES. As a former EMT, I'm still in the habit of stopping if I see a car accident, or someone is in distress at the store (if first responders are not already on scene). The very first week I owned this, a coach took a line drive to the face at the baseball field, and I was right there, readily available, gloved up, cleaned the wound, minimized the bleed, applied ointment and butterfly bandages, cracked open that ice pack, and gave him some Tylenol (from my purse) for the headache he was bound to end up with. After the game, he went to Urgent Care to get checked out... they said if it hadn't been immediately treating and bandaged, he would have required stitches. This kit very literally saved this guy from needles in his face.

The ONLY things I've added to it, is Benadryl, and that's because I'M super allergic to bee stings, and my pen light for checking pupils. The whistle and compass, some may think are silly, but any Boy Scout knows that you WILL need this while camping at some point (if not for your own direction, but to track incoming storm clouds). I highly recommended leaving this kit intact and not taking out the things you think you won't use... you WILL use everything in here.

I love these kits as do my children. I purchased one and my daughter fell in love with it. She carries it in her backpack when she takes her troop camping.

My son saw hers and wanted one as well. He is a trucker who can need bandages and ointment in a blink of an eye due to hazards of the job.

which I will be doing after this I noticed the CPR mask that did not come in my other first aid kits I have also had to buy them separately but in this first a kid actually came in it I've seen a Compass which I really appreciate. There is so many things going on in the world right now that makes you think you need to be prepared you need to stay on top and make sure that you have these items included in your daily activities, My daughter is currently participating in soccer and many time they get injured but I have learned that it's not only bruises and scrapes their has been many incidents where they get punched in the stomach or in the throat and bcs some players are not active they run about of breath and may need CPR, I am trying to make sure that each of my children have one in their rooms where I case of anything I'm not running back to another room to get the first aid kit, I'm also trying to make sure that we have one in between the kitchen and the living room I have smaller ones in each car but as of today as I was going through this first aid kid I am going to have to add the light sticks the emergency blanket and the emergency poncho. I am very happy with my purchase with the call quality and specially the amount of things it came with as well as what I've learned from it.
